We are pleased to welcome Stonecroft Country Guest House in Edale, Derbyshire, as the latest B&B to be listed on www.allergyfriendlyhotels.com.

Stonecroft Guest House, Edale is a second generation family run guest house in the heart of the Derbyshire Peak District. The setting of this charming house never ceases to appeal. The house is Victorian in style although it was built using local Derbyshire stone in the early 1900's. It still features the original stained glass windows and other features from that period.

Julia Reid, host at Stonecroft, is an award winning chef who won a scholarship to study Catering and Hotel Management in Holland. Stonecroft’s policy is to provide guests with a breakfast that is both healthy, full of flavour and uses only top quality ingredient. As many of the products as possible are sourced locally and are organic.

Julia is both vegetarian, lactose intolerant and a diagnosed coeliac. The breakfast menu is varied and special diets including Coeliac, diabetic, vegetarian, vegan and raw are happily catered. A dedicated gluten free menu is available. All special diet foods are stored and cooked separately to other foods.

Stonecroft has been awarded a breakfast award from the English Tourism Council.

All bedrooms have beautiful views and either private or en-suite facilities. They have a clock radio, i-pod docking stations, dressing gowns and beverage tray, as well as those little extras to show that they really care about the comfort of their guests including complimentary fruit bowls and chocolates.

Stonecroft has been presented with a smoke free zone award by High Peak Borough Council and guests appreciate the fact that the house is smoke free.
